Get to Know Cam
Cameron “Cam” Bryan and his family have been proud members of the Dragon community for 20 years; and, for the past three years, Cam has dutifully served on the Carroll ISD Board of Trustees, currently as Board President. He has been active in the community for many years having served on the Dragon Youth Football and North Texas Football League Board of Directors. Cam has coached hundreds of young Dragons in Dragon Youth Football and Basketball, assisted in Dragon Lacrosse, and served as Odyssey of the Mind Volunteer Coach.
Cam has three CISD kinder-graduates, one child remaining in the district and is committed to serving CISD’s tradition of excellence for years to come.

Cam believes CISD’s commitment to greatness in education, athletics, the arts, extracurricular opportunities, and programs for gifted and talented students and children with learning differences make CISD the best school district in
the state of Texas. Cam believes continuous improvement in all of these categories is possible and necessary to ensure the best and brightest future for our kids and our district.

Cam’s dedication to hard work first began at Auburn University with his Civil Engineering degree. After graduation, he would enter a successful career of leadership in the aviation industry. He brings over 30 years of capital planning and budget experience, managing a $1 billion dollar airport infrastructure program. He has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and management in his public service as a civil engineer and has extensive
hands-on experience planning and maintaining significant budgets, managing and leading large staffs, and implementing complex policies across various spectrums. Cam possesses a unique ability to think creatively, lead efficiently, and maximize impact. Throughout his career, Cam has emerged as a natural leader with the ability to communicate and work with all levels of people- from Congressmen to Airport Owners to the flying public. Cam is running again for CISD School Board because he believes he has the management, communication, and leadership skills and experiences needed to help secure a bright future for our school district.
The Bryan family lives in Southlake and attends Gateway Church.

Passed resolutions to dissolve the Texas Association of School Boards membership and to pressure the Texas Comptroller and TEA Commissioner to account for our $38 million recapture payment to the state

Established monthly Board recognitions for teachers, substitutes and staff
